Phil Bontrager, CEO of Sauder Manufacturing Company, experienced firsthand the benefit of a proactive assessment of his leadership team and of the organizational culture. “The assessment process helped me communicate more effectively with the leadership team and with the employees. VI team members conducted two comprehensive assessment processes at SMC over a five year period. This allowed for the benchmarking of results and for identifying areas for additional growth and improvement.
When a regional Red Cross chapter was mired in financial troubles and a reactive mindset, they sought out VI’s expertise to help set new direction. Through strategic planning and board development, the chapter was able to become proactive, and fulfill its mission at a higher level.
“The meetings over the past four months were more successful than I could ever imagine,” said the Executive Director of the process employed. “Now I believe we can become the premier chapter in the state!”
When a county-wide K-12 district was seeking communication insight for their membership, they turned to VI team members. Through the application of theories through concrete examples and an interactive presentation style, the conference was deemed a success.
